Lesbians of Iowa (#loia) is a community of 18+ queer women, gender non-conforming and trans-folk. LOIA is a grassroots, statewide community connecting folks across the state.
Whether you’re in Des Moines, Davenport, Sioux City, or a town with one stoplight, you belong here. We host events, share resources, celebrate our diverse stories, and advocate for the safety and joy of Iowa’s queer community. This is your space — to laugh, connect, show up for each other, and be exactly who you are.
